In my intention this will be the beginning of many more blog posts on the topic of practical use of modern technology.
Traditionalists will often state that today’s technology, while positive in many respects, is more of a hindrance than a benefit to living a happy life—which if we are truthful is what we are altogether striving for.
Today’s technology does make life just that little bit more complex, with all its applications and nuances. However when we look at the primary purpose of a specific innovation, it is usually to make a task or many tasks more efficient and incredibly simplified, with the overarching goal of making our lives better because of it.
My belief is that if we can make technology work “in our favour” then we are ahead of the play.
Essentially, we ought manipulate technology to adhere to general principles of maintaining happiness and also, to comply with our values.
